Up

What can I say...it was either that or Public Enemies, which I had heard earlier that day wasn't very good...TFD cried her eyes out during Up.

Saw 'Public Enemies' today and I have to say, considering the cast and director, along with how much I was looking forward to it, it was a major disappointment. Not awful by any means, just expected much more...6.5/10

"The Magnificent Seven" 1960 classic remake of a B&W Japanese samurai flick(Seven Samurai?). Yul Brenner, Steve McQueen, James Coburn and Eli Wallach as the bad guy. Just a great, classic western. Highly recommended.

Thats what I have heard from a couple of people so far, that there is stuff that he just did to shock people that were watching and nothing more.

There's a lot of dong...just for dong's sake. It had some genuinely funny moments, but far too much shock humor.

"we all do stupid [censored] when we're [censored]ed up"[/mike tyson]

saw it last night. hilarious flick.

I agree. Great from start to finish...Zack Galifianakis was [censored]ing awesome. Honestly, his character in that movie will probably get him in a lot more mainstream comedies.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The last half-hour with all of Dumbledore's big scenes was exactly as I pictured it, and Jim Broadbent as Slughorn was a nice addition. It was based on a long (600+ pages) book, so there's a lot of subplot that couldn't make it in (sorry, purists), but since they're splitting the 7th into 2 movies I think most of the missing pieces can actually fit well into the next installment.

Saw it last night. Loved it. By far the best movie of the six. The acting was light years better, and the story had a much better flow to it, where previous movies felt like I was watching a chopped up summary of the book.
