Although it's not in theaters, has anyone got the fairly new DVD realease "Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut?" Awesome!

The original (S II) was directed by Richard Lester (who replaced Donner after the latter was unfairly dismissed after the release of S I).

This version is vastly superior, and on a par with the first one. Worth a look!

I've had that attitude about diamonds for a long time. They will never get any of my money.

I haven't seen the movie, but I wonder how many others have come to the same conclusion as you have after seeing this movie...

i actually knew how messed up the whole racket is prior, but when you see how brutal it actually is with your own eyes (kind of) it takes its toll...

i watched a bit of the commentary, and the director said it was actually much WORSE than it appears on the film... wow. horrible. when the guy said that God left that place a long time ago, it really hit home...

saw Casino Royale last night... not really sure what i thought. i thought his acting was a bit stiff, and not nearly as suave as Bond usually is... then end was kind of jinky...

Part of the point of the movie is that Bond was unrefined at that point. (M calls him a blunt instrument)

A much better movie than the Maxim Magazine commercial that was Die Another Day.

I saw Hard Candy last night...

F'ed up movie and *not* for the squeemish....

What was so bad about it? You see nothing except for a little blood. I thought the movie moved too slow and didn't have a big payoff at the end. Hayley wasn't a believable 14 year old either other than going by looks. No 14 year old talks like that. I just thought it was a pretty boring movie.
