'Apt Pupil' was solid. 'Carrie' was really good. 'Christine' was a favorite of mine when I was younger as was 'Cujo'. But 'The Shining' was far and away the best of the lot IMO.

Apt Pupil was another one I forgot. Carrie I think falls into the dated category. Shining I don't think does full justice to the book but I think his "horror" writing for what of I've read of him hasn't been that greatly adapted

I've always thought The Shining was overrated. Fucking boring. The bitch was pug fucking fugly, and the little girls weren't scary at all. The only saving grace was Hong Kong Phooey being in it.

Yes, Herman Munster. Church the cat. One of the scariest moments in any movie ever, at least to me. It even fucks with me today. The part where the wife is having a flashback to her childhood and she had to go feed her fucking twisted spined sister. "RAAAACHELLLL...RAAAAAAACHEELLLL"...gives me the heebie jeebies to this day.
