The Big Lebowski

As far as the Coen brothers go.. not my favorite. But still pretty good. The acting was fantastic.

1) No Country for Old Men
2) O' Brother, Where Art Thou?
3) Burn After Reading
4) The Big Lebowski
5) Fargo

I thought this was a great movie too....by the end I didn't even notice it was in French.

Same. I had to rewind a couple times because I found myself staring at Audrey Tautou and missing some lines . I was looking at my top 10 list and the only movie I possibly enjoyed more is Goodfellas.. maybe.

Looks like we're going to have a problem then.. because I'm not sharing either. I'll throw down for her, for sure.

Go watch "He loves me, he loves me not" or "Dirty, Pretty Things" and see if you feel the same way. They came out right after Amelie when she was in a phase of taking every anti-Amelie role she could find. Fucked up.

What a great film. :)

Well, I don't want to hate her. :tongue2:

I'll add those to my short (somewhat long at the moment) list. Are they good movies, or are you just wanting my opinion to change of her so we don't have to share? Ass.

I have not seen Dirty, Pretty things, but my wife and sister both said it was fucked up and depressing. The screenplay was nominated for an Oscar for whatever that's worth.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not was cute and mostly light-hearted, but still a bit twisted. Not even close to as good as Amelie, but not bad either.

A Very Long Engagement is another one with her (as well as Gaspard Ulliel who played young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising ) and it's very good, too. (Not Amelie-good, but good enough)

We also have L'Auberge Espagnole on DVD, but haven't watched it yet.

Yeah, I'm a bit of an Audrey Tautou junkie. :paranoid:

Also, if you like Amelie that much, you should watch Pushing Daisies on Wednesdays at 8 on ABC. It has a very "Amelie" feel to it. Cute, light-hearted, superbly designed and directed.
