2001: A Space Odyssey

I have an idea about what happened, but I'm going to need to watch it again to have an opinion. Great piece of film-making, though.
If you read the book it'll give you a better idea of what happened. It will probably only take slightly longer to read the book than watching the movie again too.

The book was written for the purpose of making the movie and it's pretty short. It was only a 6 CD audio book (approximately 6 hours) which translates to about 2 hours worth of actual reading.

Finally went to go see Ironman last night and it turned out to be a fairly good little action movie.
Had to love the surprise ending .
It was worth the money to see it once but I probably won't add it to my list of gotta see twice.

Finally got around to seeing The Dark Knight last night. I was really impressed. I've got to mull it over, and I know they are completely different beasts, but my first impression is that I prefer it to the original Batman. Did anyone else get the impression that the plot was designed to allow for a sequel including Heath Ledger as the Joker? What a loss to the film industry.
