Watched WALL-E at the drive-in with the fam a couple weeks ago...cute, but not a pixar "classic" imo. Tough watching it with a 1 & 3 year old :tongue2:, but my 9 year old son really enjoyed it.


Just watched The Bucket list with my wife last night...touching story...a little "heavy" at times...they tried to mix in the right dose of reality & comedy, and I think they pulled it off rather well. It's definitely not what I'd call a comedy-first movie (which is what I half expected...though I really didn't know much about it other than a few previews) But it was well done imo, and I thought it was well worth my while.

Drillbit Taylor - also not good (a couple funny moments) but overall just Owen Wilson playing the same character he plays in every role he has ever had.

Re-watched Higher Learning last night. I forgot what a great cast that movie had, not to mention you get a Tyra in her prime (despite the 90's spandex) and a girl-kissing Jennifer Connelly. Very helpful.

overall just Owen Wilson playing the same character he plays in every role he has ever had.

I didn't see 'Drillbit' but feel the same way about Owen Wilson. If you've seen one of his roles, you've seen 'em all. I much prefer his brother's acting.
