The Mist - I usually don't like movie versions of Stephen King stories, but I thought this one was good. Most altered endings suck-ass, but this one was better than what he wrote.

Cloverfield - fun. I wish it was longer, though.

Batman Begins - yeah, I'm that far behind in seeing new movies. What a great cast. Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman all in supporting roles? I haven't seen any of the Batman films since seeing Batman Returns in the theater god knows how many years ago. I enjoyed it. Now I may have to go see The Dar Knight, too.

You most definitely should.

Saw the 1:00 showing today. Out-fuckin'-standing. I can't wait for the next one, whenever that is. Ledger's Joker is right up there with Kilmer's Doc Holiday and Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka as my favorite movie characters ever. Just an awesome movie.

Saw the Dark Knight for the second time; theatre was hot as hell the first time around;

I love Jack Nicholson, and his joker was my favorite character when I was young - but its been replaced. Why? Fear... Ledger's Joker creeped the living [censored] out of me. Especially when he's interviewing the first guy on tape - his character is intimidating, creepy, mindless, funny and insane rolled into one amazing preformance.

Sorry, but this is how the joker was portrayed in the comic - and its how this should have been the first time around.
