I have returned. The movie was excellent. If the theater hadn't been miserably (almost unbearably) hot, it would've been better. I've never actually been affected by theater conditions. I feel like shit. :roll1:

I really enjoyed the movie though. Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar IMO. Whenever he was on camera, he grabbed everyone's attention and didn't let go until the next scene without him. One of the best performances I've seen on camera in a long time.

The Dark Knight has overtaken Batman Begins for the best superhero movie out there.

You were at Lennox, too, I'm guessing? I couldn't believe how hot it was.

I loved the movie. It is by far the best Batman and Superhero movie to date, IMO.

I also agree, Ledger was amazing as The Joker. It sucks that he'll never be able to reprise the role again.

The Dark Knight is a definite MUST SEE.

I was at Lennox. Those bastards need to invest some of the insane cash they brought in tonight in some AC..

ZOMG easily the best movie of the year.

Best super hero movie of all time.

Heath Ledger - Oscar.

None of these are exaggerations, this movie blew my freaking mind. People say it's too long - but you never want it to end.

Best movie I've seen in a hell of a long time.

Agreed. Each time he was on screen, I couldn't take my eyes off him. I'm very sad this is the last we'll see of him.

Just got back from seeing The Dark Knight - absolutely fantastic. Loved it! :)

Nonsense, this was the best possible ending for him.

Twenty years from now we'll be hearing about how he was the greatest actor of all time and blah blah blah...

He's officially become this generation's marty for the teeny bobbers.

I don't think anyone who saw Jack's Joker is forgetting it, it just so happens that most of the people who are so enthusiastic about The Dark Knight are too young to have appreciated Jack's version.

I think Heath's version is superior, however. And I don't think he was a mediocre actor. I was not a fan of Heath Ledger (I didn't care for his roles, except the Joker), but to call him a mediocre actor is simply not true IMO. He acted well when he acted, his roles were poor for the most part.

I'd like to forget it.

Jack Nicholson overacting has never been a selling point for me.

Not to mention that the popularity of his hamming it up as the joker is part of the reason that the following films rode the campy train into the toilet.
