I thought it was an ok flick. I really did enjoy the movie, kinda sucked ---spoiler---.

This is what is called a spoiler. You just spoiled a part of the movie. Thanks man.

Considering I had JUST put it on my Netflix queue this helps me look forward to it. /sarcasm

I appreciate this thread for letting me know movies worth seeing (or not). I think it's understood ruining movies for others isn't cool...

The spoiler statute of limitations has long passed by the time a movie gets to video. My own test of a movie's quality is how the viewing experience holds up even when I know its plot details.
:roll2: Yeah, a three day window (since release) seems fair for those uninterested in dropping 14-18 bucks on a movie date (for which you can own the movie).

Spoiler statute of limitations is ridiculous. I've read the book, I know what happens to the dog. I don't know what the movie will do since the main character is BLACK when the book character is White and blonde. Suspense keeps a movie alive for me, not knowing every detail before hand. I barely watch trailers anymore since Hollywood has decided most of the best bits are the ones they need to tease the audience with.

Dammit! WTF! jwins takes the time to go through and edit out all the spoiler info and then you repost it. :smash:

I didn't say 3 days, I was just linking to another site that provided its own version of the statute... My point is that once a movie's been in the public domain for 3 months, references to which supporting characters die in which movies is pretty much fair game. Going to the theatres is expensive, sure, but it's your best chance to get an untainted viewing experience.

Anyway, it was fairly obvious from the Legend previews how that particular spoiler moment was going to play out...

Your precious site gives a 3-7 days after release before unmarked spoilers are kosher. That's ridiculous.

Of course the best way to prevent spoilers is to see it asap... that doesn't mean that spoilers should be welcomed in this thread, imo.
