Given the institution's recent past with their highly-ranked players, it's clear that Ole Miss is fine going after academic and behavioral risks. They just snapped up Anthony Alford, who Southern Miss booted after an aggravated assault charge. They signed Jamar Hornsby, he who racked up charges on a dead student's credit card at a previous school. He decided to beat up a McDonald's employee with brass knuckles a month after signing.
Crete-Monee isn't any great shakes as a high school either. It isn't a Chicago Public School but is close enough to the city to share many of the same problems.
I had to laugh when Michigan thought he'd commit there. Treadwell would be the next Demar "O Let Do It" Dorsey.
