actually, name me a QB who started and lost a Super Bowl that came out early...

They have been hyped all their life and believe that they will succeed, even though others have not.

The really relevant question on a QB coming out early is: Name a QB that came out early and signed a contract guaranteeing himself millions of dollars. Usually it is all about the money.

The sad news is that you would think that they would be financially set for life; however, it usually doesn't work out that way. :(

Starts, wins, and Super Bowl rings contribute much more to career earnings now that the rookie scale is in place. Sam Bradford was the last #1 pick to take advantage of not having a rookie scale in place, and I think that most of the great QBs that follow him, regardless of draft position, will make more money in their careers than he will. Especially if he continues on his current path to mediocrity.
