Lakers-Jazz Second round series

Lakers came a lot closer to winning the two games in Utah than the Jazz did winning in LA. I still like the Lakers chances but Kobe's back is a major wildcard.

Here's a sight you don't see every day. Deron Williams is the darkest-skinned guy on the court.

Damn European players... out of curiosity, if someone comes in from out of the country do they have to do a year in college? This isn't against current events, and sorry methomps, this is a bad quote to ask after, but it's a serious question. The NFL doesn't have the out of country players that the NBA or NHL does...

There is also an age limit no just a year removed from high school...I believe it is 19 and that is what the foreign players go by...

BTW this is just another home team win in the second round of the playoffs...Only the Pistons are the only team to win on the road...

I remember thinking something like that when these were the lineups at the time (5 Euros, if you include Okur as being west of the Bospurus):

Farmar, Vujacic, Radmonovic, Walton, Gasol

Williams, Korver, Harpring, Kirilenko, Okur

The part I love about last night's win is that the Lakers kept the lead all the way to the finish and Kobe didn't even take a shot the entire fourth quarter. I know he attempted foul shots, but it's great that he could be a facilitator even in the waning moments.

nobody has to do a year in college....they just have to be a certain age. college just makes sense for most of them.
