Lakers-Jazz Second round series

Utah made a great comeback and had their chance to tie it in the last 10 seconds...

Great series it was...Now is LA ready for NO or SA...

From what I've seen so far in the playoffs the Lakers are ready for anyone.

This might be the best overall group Jackson has ever had for the triangle.

I still don't know who sold their soul to the devil to get Gasol for nothing but I'm glad they did. :wink2:

I love the way L.A. is playing right now. Like you said they have a great cast to run the triangle thanks to the Gasol trade. I was very excited when I heard about the trade and so far so good. L.A. split the season series with both N.O. and SanAnt but the stat that jumped out at me was that L.A. shot only 32% from 3pt against both teams while giving up 45% from 3pt. I dont think they can beat SanAnt if those #'s continue but I do think they can take out N.O. Either way get some rest for Kobe's back these next 4 days and get ready for what I think is gonna be a 7 game battle either way. Go Lakers

Wish the bulls would have took Kobe when they had a chance.

I just hope they get this rebounding thing fixed before the next series. That's the huge issue I see, home teams are going to get calls, but the rebounds, particularly the offensive rebounds, are that out of wack, it needs to be looked at and fixed.

good point. I mentioned earlier about being wary of the 3pt% differential between LA and both SanAnt/NO but the rebounding may be a much bigger issue. Lets hope they get it straightened out in time.

Outside of the first couple of games I didn't notice a huge rebounding edge for Utah(not looking at any numbers, just by what I think I saw). I think they have it under control.

The fourth quarter of game six they were seriously out rebounded, I think it was like 18-4. And they slaughtered the Lakers on the offensive boards, getting second and third trys all the time.
