I remember Tommy Schutt saying at the Army Bowl last year that Kalis was the best OL he faced.

No love lost for the guy and I think his rationale for decommitting to the rival was BS, but I expect he'll have a solid career.

That's not exactly how threads like this work.

Now that the '12 class is well over, let me put this in simple terms. FUCK KYLE and I hope he goes 0-12 every season. I know that will not happen but it would be fun to see him go 0-5 against us and be as winless as Hart and Henne were in their contrite war against us. He couldn't help the blood spilt against his team on the bench but I hope he feels every bit of the blood that will be spilled against him in his eligible years. Fuck you and fuck the team up north. Carry on.

Hardly worth getting that worked up over an offensive lineman, even one as good as Kyle. He's a traitor but he'll find out soon enough that his decision was decidedly the wrong one.

Kyle Kalis' rendition of a pancake block:

Is this what "blood on the field" means?

He seems to have underachieved in his first year, a redshirt year:

"In 10 years of covering recruiting, Kalis is one of the most college-ready offensive linemen I have seen. Physically he appears able to step on a college field right now, and his technique is advanced beyond his years," said Rivals.com Midwest Recruiting Analyst Josh Helmholdt.

Eh, you're probably right. But I also understand OSU fans thinking Kalis is a total clown for running his mouth about the OSU-UM game in '12, and then not even being good enough to be in uniform, more less on the field, while his team lost.
