KyLLLLLe KaLLLLLis (traitor with a platinum sombrero)

I feel confident in saying he will not be a Buckeye. The bridges weren't burned. They were blown up. I know Hoke and Strobel pushed him for the quick verbal, but the vitriol in the quotes and the recruiting for Michigan before he even verballed are too much for the coaching staff, I would think.

Recruits come and go every year. Those who go are usually sooner forgotten for what they could have been in favor of those who came, stayed and played themselves into our lives for ever such a short and wonderful time that we get to see them in the S&G. Should that be the case here, time will tell. But this I promise you, you will have plenty of Buckeyes for whom you will cheer for the next four years. In the end, what really matters? Those who didn't or those who did?

Kalis did come out later and say that his quotes were twisted and printed out of context. As the old saying goes, "Trust the coaches".

On the other hand, if a veil was placed over Kyle's eyes in regard to potential sanctions and that veil has now been lifted Kyle could be a strong spokesman for OSU to other kids who have been sung similar tunes.

none of that affects how he plays football.....so I don't care about it. I just don't see it happening.

I've refrained from commenting on this kid and his situation because I wasn't really sure how I felt, but now I'm ready to say something.

Kyle's a very talented kid. At one time, he thought he was headed to his dream school and wanted to go down in Buckeye lore. However, because of what at the time was a looming NCAA cloud, he had a change of heart, and decided to go to TSUN. He made some comments that he'd like to have back, but at the end of the day he's a 17 year old kid who hasn't even graduated from HS yet, he's gonna make some mistakes.

I'd love to have him in S&G, but its obvious he's made his decision for good this time.

We'll see him once a year for the next 4 years across the field (Unless we meet in the B1G Title Game). I wish Kyle a healthy career, and an enjoyable senior year of HS and college years. But at the end of the day, I hope he ends up taking his rightful place next to guys like Mike Hart, Chad Henne, Tate Forcier, and every other guy that suited up against us and didn't claim victory once.

Indeed.

The last head to head recruiting battle that went to scUM and participated in a victory over OSU that I can recall was Chris Perry.

Love to have him but we WILL win without him.

Next.

I usually don't fix other people's posts...but I felt compelled to fix yours. Hope you don't mind. :)
