still a long time before anything becomes official for any of these kids. Verbal's are nice, but I enjoy seeing them signing and showing up on campus.

This is probably one of the best times for a 17-18 year old kid right now at this point in their lives. Being "wined and dined" so to speak by major universities all over the country. If I was in their position, I'd be taking as many visits as possible to any university that was recruiting me.

Kyle is trying to make an early decision but rushing things can be a problem. With OSU, the situation obviously won't be cleared up until the fall. So, now, UM looks good.

But upon further reflection, once OSU is done with the NCAA and the permanent coach is named, they could look a lot better to Kyle. UM is signing a large group of tackles in this class and they have two (Lewan and Schofield) already on the roster with 3 years of eligibility remaining. Kalis would have to sit at UM for years and would likely be moved to guard. He'd play right away at OSU. I think he'll weigh all those factors and could easily swing back to OSU by signing day.

to Fredo....come on guys. I doubt he is commiting this weekend the coaches arent in town and he said he wants to check out bama and the U

Actually, the word is he will be there today and the coaches are coming back a little early from vacation to see his family. So I guess we will see what happens.

Talk on one Michigan board that he and Wormley will commit soon to try and take the heat off of Kalis. Just a rumor tho.

Lewan will be the only sure starter at Michigan when Kalis shows up. Kyle could show up to Michigan today and probably make it into the 2 deep. That is how bad of shape the OL is and how good he is.

I think Kyle is the most college ready out of all the OLs that Michigan is recruiting. Bars, Magnusson, Stacey all need time in the weight room. Braden is huge and may be the only one with a college body, right now, outside of Kalis. I think it is a great place for him to walk into and push for a starting job.

Also, a kid that is as good as he is, probably feels confident he can blow through any OL on a roster and take their spot especially if he wants to play on Sundays.

I think everyone has expected Wormley to Michigan for awhile now, so don't see how that would take any heat off Kalis.

I hope once the dust settles, these guys that dreamed of playing for the Buckeyes will indeed be playing for the Buckeyes. Kalis is probably the top Right Tackle prospect in the country, Dodson is a top 5 Left Tackle prospect, and Benny McGowan is one of the top 5 Guards. That line class would rank right up there with Brewster, Adams, and Shugarts.

I am not so sure how you could make that statement especially if Diamond is a silent like a lot of people are saying. My guess with all these tackles that Kalis could be setting for awhile.....and knowing that as we set currently next season with a whopping total of 3 tackles on our team. I realize you are trying to paint a positive picture for Kalis but our depth is a real issue and your depth especially if Kalis and Diamond sign is a bit over the top. Where do all of those guys play? You are loading up on some solid DE prospects and OT`s dont always work out that well at DT, which is a real need for you guys. I guess you could say guard of center but the transition isnt all that easy. Kalis is one of the few guys who could play guard for you guys but I think he could start right away at RT and even play some LT.....which is the money position is the NFL. Go Bucks
