BN $ - Soph QB Considers Ohio State Offer

3/12

Offered by Coach Herman this past Friday...says if he had to name five right now they would be Clemson (also offered), Ohio State, Texas A&M, Oregon and Florida.

Interesting... No Texas in the list. Seems like 2015 is a good year for dual-threat QBs after a down year in 2014... And we're getting a head start by offering 2 QBs in the class already!

Father was an Aggie QB so that might be part of the reason why...

Braxton 2.0 (just a little shorter)

So many great 'options' at QB in 2015. Murray is certainly up there & I honestly like his film over Wimbush & Nunez. Can't really go wrong with any of the above, but give me Murray & Gibson. I'm greedy. Sorry, not sorry.

Haven't paid mucj attention to this kid for OSU, figured he was a&m's to lose

I am not sure who is number one on the A&M board?

Wow, the scout writeup (accuracy, savy, reads the field):

Typically, quarterbacks with his size are not rated as highly, but that speaks to the type of talent he possesses. Led his team to a 5A state title in Texas as a sophomore, showing a high acumen to read the field and make plays with his arm or his legs. He is a very accurate passer and can place the ball exactly where he wants it to go. He is very savvy as to when he decides to pull the ball down and run. A rue dual-threat at the position. - GP

The son of former Texas A&M quarterback Kevin Murray
