Kentucky had more fouls and more turnovers yet they won the game.

Why?

Blocked shots: Kentucky 11, Ohio State 1

Shooting: Kentucky 46%, Ohio State 33%

No need to look for excuses. The reasons are right there. :(

Still love my Buckeyes. :osu:

Says it all right there.

Hahaha and Kansas gets to go through powerhouses such as Illinois, Richmond, VCU, and probably Butler on its way to the NC game.

Yeah. It's a joke.

And as far as the toughest bracket for the #1 overall seed goes, I don't get it either. I don't care so much, because I feel like if we win it all, going through the toughest bracket to do it would make it much more satisfying. But It is still ridiculous. I mean should we have threw a couple of games at the end of the regular season to lose our #1 overall? Then we might have gotten to play Florida State in the fucking sweet sixteen.

Great win for Kentucky. They have a talented team, played great defense, and deserved to win - congratulations to Coach Calipari and all the team.

I'm still just so proud of this Buckeyes team. They've been so much fun to watch this season; sad it had to end before the last game.

I watched this game on TV with my besht bud Mark May. I can shay that this wash a rough one for the Buckeyesh. Couldn't make shotsh when they needed to, misshed free throwsh, poor shot shelectionsh, jusht not the Buckeyesh night. What a shame too, becaushe they had the mosht talent in the country. And dangit, I picked the Buckeyesh to win it all in my bracket.

Buckeyesh fans, there'sh always football. And although it'sh rough timesh right now, they won't miss a beat. Can I get a :oh: from the Buckeye faithful?

So not to beat a dead horse...but can someone please explain to me why the #1 OVERALL TEAM gets put in the hardest region?

Why doesn't the #1 overall team get rewarded for the regular season play? Makes no sense to me.
3 of 4 #1s are out already. Other than Kansas, nobody had smooth sailing.

Add Buford's stats to that as well. 2-16 from the field. :sick1:

To play that poorly overall and still have it down to a last second shot is a minor miracle in and of itself. That was possibly the most frustrating game I've ever watched. So many missed opportunities. Oh well, it was a helluva ride and Thad will have them back again. Next year should be fun...now just pray to whatever higher power you believe in that Sully is having to much fun to go.

At least I have the Tribe.

Shit. :ohwell:

Do we have a thread with bunnies and other things that make life seem worth it? I just watched Rebecca Black "Friday" and it helped a little. I think if I see a bunny I might be ok.

right now, im really pissed at the committee, love seeing Kansas play Richmond and UF playing a depleted BYU team then Butler and UNC getting Marquette, awesome, wtg committee
Butler ain't nobody to sneeze at. People keep overlooking them, but they're well coached, solid fundamentally, and a little more athletic than people give them credit for. For my money, Brad Stevens is the best coach in the country.

This as well. They were very inconsistent with the FTs. After Sully hit the first two of the night, everyone missed at least one each time up to the line. You can't do that and win in a close game, at least not very often.

Bucklion, there were 2 UK jerseys on Buford as soon as Craft headed to his left, and the UK players on the right seemed to be cheating heavily to the left while our other three weren't. I have no doubt the right side would have been a better shot.

This simply isn't true. They were 14-20 after those first two free throws. You don't go 1-2 "each time" at the line and shoot 70%.
