I do not even know who Jerry Meyer is but I think Simmons would make a very poor decision if he decided to go to UNLV to improve his stock to play at the next level. Matta has proven a couple times that he knows how to take guys like Simmons and get them to the next level. Even Kentucky would be a better choice than UNLV but I do not think that their ass coach would let Simmons play PG like Matta would if he came to Ohio State.Jerry Meyer thinks it's between OSU and UNLV for Kobi, and he thinks UNLV has the edge.

Jerry Meyer gave a crystal ball prediction to OSU late last week, as have 2 KY insiders. It looks as if KY is going to get Malik Monk at the combo guard spot.Jerry Meyer thinks it's between OSU and UNLV for Kobi, and he thinks UNLV has the edge.
I do not know I am still leery of UNLV because the articles I have his father really has said some very nice things about them but I suppose Jerry Meyer knows a lot more then the writers who wrote the articles with the statements from his dad.Jerry Meyer gave a crystal ball prediction to OSU late last week, as have 2 KY insiders. The one thing that I do not understand is that we are fully loaded on scholarships assuming the 2 bigs(Potter and Funderburk) commit early and I do not want Simmons dangling out there until next Spring. I know of a scenario but I am not going to speculate.
I do not think that is necessarily true. By the late signing date we might have a better idea on our numbers of scholarships available. Plus everything that I have read it is still between Kentucky, UNLV, and the Buckeyes.Saw a report that he won't be deciding until the spring now. That's probably bad news for the good guys.
