The writer of this article knows just as much as the guys over at 11W and Arizona has no commitments for any guards this year… Just sayin
With regard to #2, Kentucky and Ohio State are different animals when it comes to basketball. Also just saying that with Kentucky not having any guard commitments it might rule them out.I'm confused by your post in two respects:
1. Are you suggesting the 11W article's statement that Simmons hasn't officially visited Arizona is incorrect? No
2. Neither Potter nor Funderburke are guards. So OSU has no commitment for any guards yet this year either. Do you disagree?
Sort of makes sense with Kentucky not having room at the inn and Lyle playing the position that Simmons wants to play at Ohio State and no one has any idea if Lyle is going to be gone after this year.A lot of crystal balls swinging towards Arizona, FWIW...
Certainly rare although as someone else pointed out Marcus Baugh committed to OSU before every stepping foot on campus...so it does happen.Sort of makes sense with Kentucky not having room at the inn and Lyle playing the position that Simmons wants to play at Ohio State and no one has any idea if Lyle is going to be gone after this year.
I know that you have followed recruiting for a long time so I was wondering how often a kid would commit to a school that he is not "officially visited". I am sure that he has talked Miller at Arizona and knows what Arizona might look like but I was wondering what your thinking is regarding that type of situation.
I'll put decent odds on Arizona
