I think Iowa's problem may be easier to solve than people say? Kirk's son works for the AD, so the AD can fire him. And if he does that Kirk may quit. But if he doesn't quit, there may be a problem. They might get a really good OC, and then Kirk might win another coach of the year for a big turn around.

Ferentz's son won't return as Iowa's OC in 2024
Iowa offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz, the son of longtime coach Kirk Ferentz whose contract amid the offense's historic struggles drew national attention, will not return for the 2024 season, the school announced in a Monday statement.

Just sayin': Well, they are 9-2 and have 2 possible chances for 10 wins (maybe even 11 wins), i.e. Nebraska next Saturday and a bowl game. Needless to say, they will not win the B1G CCG.
