Chuck Nevitt > Patrick EwingAgree they're all earned, not given. Do not agree they all count the same. Otherwise, Robert Horry would be in the Hall of Fame.

If he wants rings, it's a smart move. That EPIC choke against GS proved that he cannot carry a team to a title. He looked scared as shit in games 6 & 7 of that series...IIRC, he only had taken like 9 shots well into the 3 Q of game 7. Great individual player, lousy leader.I think its a bitch move. Durant will be this generations Clyde Drexler.
And the above is not me crowning him as a future champion. There's no such thing as an "unbeatable" team in the nba. The down-side of these "super-teams" is that they have to sacrifice depth...which was maybe THE major reason GS won a ring in 2015 and raced to 73 wins this year...for a strong core. As recently as the 2011 Heat, who everybody was crowning as unbeatable, had trouble gelling that first year, and were beaten in the Finals by a Dallas team that lacked the star-power, but overwhelmed them with depth.
Well, really any team that relies heavily on a superstar(s) is a key injury away from being in serious trouble. Are the Warriors any better off if they have to count on significant minutes from Livingston or what's left of Iguodala? Or David West? They will definitely be very formidable. Any team with three scorers like Curry, Thompson and Durant are going to be very tough to beat on any given night. However, the flaws that were exposed when Bogut went down were not addressed. They actually got WORSE in that regard, because on top of Bogut, they also lost Ezeli. They basically said, "fuck it, we'll just try to outscore everybody." That is a great theory in a general sense, but what happens in a seven game series when a couple of their shooters go cold, like Curry and Thompson did the last few games against the Cavs and they can't stop anybody in the paint?I agree they sacrificed the core of their depth, but it isn't like the Cavs are any better. At least GS filled out their roster with the cream of the ring chaser crop. The Cavs are an injury or two away from a second round tiny PG and a D League All-Star seeing minutes. The only true weakness I can see other than a Durant or Curry injury is that they are very thin at the 5. If something happens to Pachulia they are going to be in major trouble with Green, Andy, and West giving them a small front court. That would be a problem against a big team like the Spurs. At least the Cavs still have the best player in the league along with Kyrie who might be the best all around scorer in the league. The Cavs also have the only 2 guys that have come through in the clutch unlike those mental midgets from Oakland. I'd love to see Durant wilt in the spotlight then leave for more money when the Warriors can only offer him 5 mil less than another teams max deal next summer.
Kevin Durant is one of my favorite players. He is very strong and powerful player of Warriors. Due to his injuries, he could not able to play in the last few matches. Now the good news is that he is available to play.
