Kansas +3.5 at tOSU (ov/un 141.5) Sat 4 CBS

Yep crowd won't be as amped as it would for this game usually I don't think.

What they are forgetting to mention is that last year, at Kansas, Thomas Robinson ate us alive and after the half, we were a one man scoring show much like this year, with Deshaun Thomas. Buford went off in the second half last year and DT took over in the first but we had no answer for Robinson. Withey had a total of 2 points. Thats not dominating Seth. Ravenel and Craft both fouled out. The Ravenel of this season seems much improved so I think he can give Withey a game and if Amir comes in and plays strong, they won't have much of an advantage inside. Craft isnt scoring this year so far so its the Dtrain show or maybe Ross will be the guy who catches fire. Either way, I'm not sure we'll be favored by more than 2 points, even at home.

I hope they come out and play with fire and emotion early and set the tone.

• Matchup to watch: Seven-footer Jeff Withey wasn’t featured in Kansas’ offense last season. He is now, and he probably will be today against the Buckeyes, whose Achilles’ heel on defense is in the post, where Evan Ravenel will give up inches and Amir Williams has been inconsistent. Both need to keep Withey away from the basket, on both ends, without getting into foul trouble.

• Notable: Kansas is 7-3 all-time against Ohio State and has won five straight in the series; the Buckeyes’ last win was in 1986 in the Rainbow Classic in Honolulu. … Ohio State has won five of six matchups of top-10 teams in Value City Arena during coach Thad Matta’s nine seasons. The loss was to Purdue in 2010. … This is Kansas’ first game on an opponent’s court. Its only loss was 67-64 to Michigan State in Atlanta on Nov. 13.

• Next: Chicago State, 4:30 p.m. next Saturday, Value City Arena

I'm still having a hard time believing these guys don't work on getting through screens in practice. They are still terrible at it though.

3 ball by slammin Sam. And another move to the basket. Sam is ready to play today.
