I think LSU is a pretty good team, but honestly I don't think you deserved to jump up to #2 a week after losing. I am glad we are matched up with you because IF we win, that would be something to shut up all the SEC trolls that trash us day in and day out. Now to the breakdown.
There are only 2 real concerns for me:
I'm not sold on our kick off or punt coverages, Trindon Holliday makes me nervous.
Being able to run to set up the pass, Dorsey and Co. will be healthy, and though I think Beanie is awesome and that he can do some damage, I don't like the thoughts of Boeckman having to deal with 3rd down and 6's etc. Not a realy big concern for me, but a one none the less.
Things I'm not worried about:
Having our team composed in a theoretical home game for LSU. For one, there will be a ton of OSU fans there, and two we have proven we can handle an extremely hostile enviroment and take care of business (at PSU).
Stopping Hester, he is a very good RB, but we are in my opinion the best D in the league, and we excell at smashmouth football which is what he relies on. OSU is good at stopping powerful backs like him (Ringer and Caulcrick, Hart etc)
I expect a very physical low-scoring game. Most fans will attack that and say how boring it was, but we OSU and LSU fans will certainly enjoy it.
That being said, look for OSU to come out so pumped it's not even funny. They would like nothing better then to avenge last years travesty, I can't see this game being anywhere near the same as last years in either direction.
