WR/CB Joshua Shaw = Buckeye barring something miraculous happening between now and the USC game...Beware a "silent verbal" here. If the kid's still taking visits after September 12th, then I don't like our chances, as some other school will have the opportunity to "close" him. We've seen too many kids leave Columbus as "silent verbals" only to end up elsewhere (Devon Still, Anthony Davis, Joseph Barksdale, Major Wright, etc.), so I won't be comfortable unless he gives a firm public commitment and cancels his remaining visits

I really hope we get him. He seems to be a very good sized corner at 6'1" and about 195lbs..if he has the hips then he very well could be a first round pick at corner after 3 or 4 years. It would be nice to have a big corner to matchup with the bigger and taller Wideouts in the SEC. Would also be nice to get him since he is from California and USC usually gets these Cali kids.

We have some young tall corners in the waiting. Corey Brown, Travis Howard, Jamie Wood and C.J. Barnett are all taller DB`s and very talented. I would have been surprised if we landed him.....we got on him early and there was just too much time for other coaches to make an impression. Go Bucks

There's a very good reason for that buckeye! We're limited with schollies to begin with.

We're in fine shape. We're in late and in good shape with alot of big time players (Henderson, Hicks, Joyner, Floyd, Anderson, Bryant). Patience is a virtue. Plus, we have some other solid guys that we can wait to offer and likely still get (Schofner, sp?).

UF has a good system for Joshua, I wish him all the luck. One of the top 3 DB's available this year imo. You win this round Urban.....but we'll win the fight!

This class won't be filling up anytime soon.

All the guys were recruting are expected to make ther decisions around signing day.

Out of Floyd, Hicks, Joyner, Anderson, Bryant, Henderson, Hankins, the only one who may decide soon is Hankins. But Hicks is going to announce in December, IIRC.

This class has high potential but we wouln't know too much about It until February.
