Joshua Cribbs (Official Thread)

Came in as a quick quarterback we moved him to receiver and now he could be manning the return duties. He also mentioned that they were gonna use him as a third down back... Not to shabby for an UDFA

For the first time in 5 years, I like Cribbs... I was so tired of seeing him feast on Akron U... and then again out here last year against Rutgers... I remember when Akron U sent all 11 defenders... plus 30 guys from the bench.. to chase him down... and they still couldn't nab the sucker...

If anyone would have ever suggested that some day Charlie Frye would be throwing passes to Joshua Cribbs in the NFL, I would have had them committed... go figure...

Sounds like you are as bitter about Kent State vs. Akron U as you are with St. V vs. Hoban. :wink2:

I did see a bit of the game today and his first kick return. Very nice return on the kickoff. I really thought he was going to break it for a second there.

Josh Cribbs is a likeable guy

The Browns haven't paid the man yet, but Josh Cribbs isn't shy about spending the money he has in appreciation of his teammates.

Cleveland's return ace brought nine of his core special teams blockers (9!) to Miami with him for the Pro Bowl and he's honoring them by wearing their jerseys one at a time the rest of the week. Well done, sir.

Cleveland Browns' Josh Cribbs says despite concussion, family pleas, he's 'ready to play'

Josh Cribbs is making one very difficult decision. [Cribbs'] wife, Maria, cried hysterically when she watched her husband get knocked out cold in Baltimore Thursday night and remain motionless on his back for what seemed to her like an eternity. Even as the Browns' kick returner/receiver came to and wobbled off the field, she was ready for him to be done with football. Forever. So was his brother Harold, who's been his biggest supporter throughout his career. "Everyone was calling and couldn't stop crying," said Cribbs, who has two young children. "My brother, who's the reason why I'm playing football, even he wants me to stop." ... "They're saying, 'I know you love the game but we don't want you to play anymore,'" he said.
