Two Bama insiders just CB'ed Battle to Alabama. Maybe Battle bumps Daxton Hill back to Michigan. Would be quite a lose-lose for Ohio State.

I honestly had Battle out of this class long before UFM announced...hope I am wrong, but Battle will not wind up in Columbus imo,

Not sure why people keep lumping Grinch in with Schiano. They are "co-DC" in title only...Schiano calls all the defensive shots.

He will be flipping to Alabama unfortunately. I still submit that if Day loses Battle, loses Nester and loses Harrison that would be the worst case scenario and it's still not nearly as bad as it could have been given what OSU has been through.

Yeah. Look at their schedule next year and then imagine they’d have to lose two games to get left out, and even then ESPN will be pushing to get them in. It’s absurd.

Safety is not the issue. Cornerback is. They were actually recruiting him as a corner. So keep in mind that tyreke Johnson and Sevyn Banks were the only corners taken in 2018 and there are now zero in 2019. Plus the fact that Shaun Wade and Jeffrey okoduh could both leave early after this year.

Long story short, they need to blow 2020 out of the water in terms of the cornerback class or there could be issues down the road.
