If our offense had been run like that from game 1 with Miller at the QB spot we would have won many more games and Braxton would have been further along in his progression as a passer - likely not missing open men like he did today.

What today showed us is that we have a very talented team that was coached down to mediocre.

It's hard to feel anything good about a loss to Michigan, but the one thing I take away is a lot of hope. Because today we saw that we can still be a juggernaut with the right coaching staff at the helm. There's no reason to believe "you know who" can't lead us on a national title campaign over the next 2-3 years of Braxton's Buckeye 'career'.

would'a could'a should'a.... This team took a beating mentally before the season even began. Next year with a fresh start though I bet we see a more energized OSU team.

He calls games based on players abilities. We couldn't open up the playbook for a freshman Qb. At the begginning of the season, Brax had problems taking snaps, remebering plays, fumbling, and threw a very suspect ball, I know I wouldn't expect that type of Qb to go out and throw it all around, when the recievers he's throwing to are not trusted to be where they are supposed to be. As these players gained experience the playbook opened up more and we saw that yesterday. Bollman was the OC for our last heisman, and TP's stats last year were comparable to Cam's heisman stats when you take out Cam's td runs.

and he was also the OC for the 7 years in the past 10 when Troy Smith and Pryor weren't having their 1.5 good years each.

7 bad, 3 good. Which is the outlier?

true, but we also won a national championship and went to another national championship game in 2 of those supposedly bad years.

No one ever said the defense and special teams weren't good.

The overall team success has been in spite of Bollman and his offense, not because of it.

You're proud and bragging about Bollman's offense having scored 7 pts against Florida - a team with a real defense that year? We all know 2002 was largely on the defense and some very timely if not miraculous efforts by Clarett and Jenkins.

I've backed off the Bollman criticism because I realized something: he is what he is. It's the same reason I backed off Joe Bauserman when it became apparent he wasn't capable of improving. Bollman is similar; he's got his limitations and they are glaring. He's a power football guy, that's what he knows and that's what he reverts to.

I appreciate all that Ohio State has accomplished under his watch, but I am also curious as to what could have been without some of the unnecessary restrictions.

I think the two NC games he was talking about were 2002, and not Florida, but the year after, against LSU.
