Jim Bollman (Stay calm and run Dave)

There were receivers open throughout the game for both QB's. When Braxton threw the pick at the 5, he had a wide open receiver down the middle. A little pump fake to the corner pulling the safety over and hit the player in the seam for a TD.

The [censored]er of the interception is that the OSU receiver needed to fight for that ball and win.

Smith had both hands on the ball. He needs to rip that ball down and make the catch. For lack of a better word he posed it with his hands and the MSU defender ripped it away from him.

yeah, the throw wasn't perfect but if you woulda showed me that in slow-mo, i woulda thought our receiver would have been the one coming down with that ball.

it was an outstanding play by the DB, wrestling the ball away with one hand.

and yes, there were many times where Braxton missed wide open guys, sometimes multiple. the game is just too fast for him right now, and he shouldn't be in this situation if others didn't screw up.

I went crazy when I saw that play...in excitement. We all thought Smith caught that ball. Great play by the defender but Devin has got to get that ball. He'll learn from that, I'm sure.

As pissed as I was yesterday, my neighbors couldn't figure out why they didn't hear me screaming and dropping F-bombs. If two things happen (which they should as the season progresses) we'll be fine...the two things are decent pass protection by the OL and Miller finding open receivers faster. The game will slow down for him...

I'm just afraid that Taylor Graham will transfer before he gets a true chance. Like Ryan Mallett at Michigan. Mallett ended up being the real deal.

I don't know that Graham is Ryan Mallett or Todd Boeckman. But we need to get him a shot. And please don't tell me that they have a lot of time "invested" in Braxton Miller, 'cause if they've been coaching him up it hasn't done any good.

I should say, the whole offense. I know Braxton can't do anything when he's being sacked 7 or 8 times, pressured, and the coaching staff shows no confidence in him.

You know, the more I type the more pissed off I get so I'll just end here and say that we need offensive coaching, during the week and game day.

I say give Guiton his chance, and then Graham.

Dudes, this ain't workin'.

I'm afraid both Guiton & Graham will transfer... we're SOL in that case, I know Cardale (sp?) SHOULD be here next year... but that will leave a sophomore & a true freshman at QB... not a good recipe for success .

I'm not saying we need to play one or both to keep them here... but they atleast deserve some game time...

I'm not so sure that Graham is comparable to Mallet. Mallet was a big time recruit and everyone knew that he was the real deal his freshman year but just wasn't going to fit with DickRod's offense.

We are pretty close to that point where it's time to say screw it we have nothing to lose and throw Kenny or Taylor in there, but given some of the decisions made by the staff on offense who knows if that'll ever happen...

man the parallels between Bollman and Greg Davis (UT) are so funny its scary... I'd love to dig up some of the gold from Shaggy but I'm at work. Hate to see anyone lose their job but Bollman should have saved his money... cause its time for him to pack his bags.....

Can we get a vBet on the date time this ------ gets his pink slip?

Unfortunately, it won't be until the end of the season when a couple of things will happen. Either Fickell will get fired and the new coach will bring in his guys or Fickell will get an extension and, hopefully, he will bring in someone else. I don't think Fickell has the authorization to make coaching changes. Besides, the only other guy that is on the coaching staff who would take over would be Drayton. Drayton could work out fine, but he has no experience being an Offensive Coordinator. I would like to see Drayton take over the play calling responsibilities.

I don't see how that is any worse than the current situation. It doesn't take experience to know that you shouldn't run slow developing play-action draw plays on third and long when the defense is blitzing, yet we did that over and over on Saturday under Bollman.
