They still seem to be playing with the design as the shoulder stripes don't appear to match the one barely in the pic. Unless front to back it's that different.

I'm not sure the pic is bogus as that looks like a pretty nice quality material jersey and seems to have some ohio state type symbols but it could easily be a mockup of one of the choices they were given that was rejected.

This is interesting, considering OSU is a nike and Michigan is an adidas school, so it must have been the schools themselves pushing for this as opposed to the companies

The problem with a throwback from that long ago though is that the picture posted COULD be the actual jersey being used, its just that after u get done modernizing it to todays standards it looks awful. If you look at the picture carefully its the red numbers with the black behind it which is how it appears in that era) and it's got the red stripes on the sleeves.

This could be a real trainwreck

That's my impression. The right jersey is completely different. The shoulder stripes are somewhat similar to Georgia Tech's old look (if you move the black stripe up a little bit).

As long as the shoulder is just shaded gray and not featuring a gray background, then this is at least a fairly accurate throwback, even if it's not very attractive.

tOSU vs. scum game throwback uniforms

Heard on the Big Show that both teams are supposed to wear throwback uniforms for this years game. Uniforms to be from either the late 40's or early 50's.
Whoops just saw a whole thread on this already...
