I have a picture of Pryor as my wallpaper on my computer at work. It's from the Spring and he's wearing a "no-contact" jersey...

EVERYDAY someone will come into my office and they always ask the same question... "Is Ohio State going to wear a black jersey this year - Those look awesome"... EVERYDAY!

and EVERYDAY, my reply..."It's Never going to happen..."

Texas ought to be in everybody's top 5. Simple design, very original logo and colors, sharp look.

I wish OSU still wore the silver pants rather than the dull grey ones they wear now. Our guys looked so good in those.

No... The black jersey thing is over played and is something I am thankful never came to Ohio State.

I do miss our silver pants...Really only because I hate our see-through pants we currently have. Even if we didn't go back to the silver, I would love to see a darker shade of Gray used.

I don't mind the brighter Scarlet jersey vs. the darker style we've had in the past, but I do miss our HUGE "TV numbers" on the shoulders. I think Eddie's number 27 on his shoulder pads were the second man made object to ever be visable from space.

Haven't they had a problem with losing when they wear these jerseys in recent history?

For me the simpler the uniform the better, not those teams that change/add something every single year.

I personally don't care if we adopt black jerseys or we dont, but I do think we could pull it off. I'm just glad we dont have a bunch of alternative jersies like other schools. We have our home and our away, period. We dont have 15 options for a home game. I think were fine without the black, but if we one day decide to do it I wont have a heart attack, and I think our guys would look nice.

Question:
Is it just me or do our jersies in the 2003 Feista Bowl look better than ever? I've never seen our jersies look that nice and I dont know why...

it's because everyone had a full helmet of stickers for the most part... the road unis are fine now. Even those pants were a different color than the helmet, but then uniform designers often seem incapable of matching helmet & uniform colors, let alone the ever challenging riddle that is the color of mouthpieces.

Georgia's black uniform was interesting because their uniform was already too red... a red helmet doesn't provide a very good contrast for a red jersey. Now a black jersey...

I love Notre Dame's green uniforms, but those aren't a designer creation. Those are throwbacks that have been updated.

At least when we changed our uni's, we changed them to what they once were. We weren't reinventing anything (ie Oregon). For the most part, we have stuck to two classic idea for decades. I love how deep our tradition is.
