I think Color Rush unis are cool and fun. Love the use of all red/scarlet.

They’re gonna pop on the screen.

It's hilarious to see the difference in uniform taste between the current and former players along with recruits as opposed to the fans. You can definitely tell the older fan base preferring a traditional look, and tend to not like many alternates. While the players love any change, and embrace different uniforms. It's apparent that the alternate unis are here to stay, and the admin likes the money that roles in from sales

I agree with this. I also hate the all scarlet unis. Not inconsistent positions.

Also, if the team and recruits love them, then that's all that real matters.

All scarlet has been used in the distant past - my youth - In fact, Woody's first team used the all scarlet with gray helmets with red stripe. Scarlet pants also in use in the Les Horvath era, sometimes with white jersey sometimes all scarlet.

I understand all that. This is the first time I’ve seen an alternate uni and reacted with YGBFKM.

Exactly. I'm 61 and I've liked all our previous alternate unis.

These suck.

That's fine from both of you. My point is that, the kids still love every alternate, regardless if you all liked 1 or all of them. That was my main point. I don't care for these either way, but I like the alternate uni route. And most will be hit or miss with the fan base, but always be a hit with the players. Read the contrast in players on IG, compared to fans on here and 11W. Anyway, it's much ado about nothing, we're still going to watch. I'm much more worried about the defense over uniforms.

I really don't see what all the fuss is about. The game they're wearing them for is the day before Halloween; you know the crowd is going to be decked out for Halloween, why can't the players?

Having said that, I'm not sure that Used Tampon is the costume that I would've gone with, but hey; if the kids like it, who am I to argue?

One last observation/question on this deal...I get that kids like the color rush thing so whatever but the "it sells more merch" thing: It's the same jersey they always wear but with scarlet pants. They don't sell pants last I checked. So what the hell are they selling off this?

PSA: if they start selling football pants to middle aged humans who then in turn wear them to football games, I'm out.
