I've never watched the show but I watched the South Park episode. Why would a person willingly expose themselves to that garbage? I'm always the guy that says "to each his own" and "different strokes for different folks" but man, the 3 seconds I watched while flipping channels was enough for a lifetime.

Are you against Jersey Shore, South Park, or both?

Jersey Shore is muff cabbage, but South Park is normally good satire.

Season 4 To Shoot in Italy

Yes yesss y'all -- the rumors on TMZ are true. "Jersey Shore" will be shooting its fourth season in ITALY! According to an official hot-off-the-press release from our employer, the entire cast and crew of MTV's wildly popular hit show will be trading in their shot-filled road trips to Seaside Heights for a sure-to-be mini-bottle laden plane ride to their homeland.

While "Jersey Shore" is a popular program internationally, there are bound to be plenty of people oblivious to "The Situation" and his colorful cronies, as well as the circus of debauchery they bring with them to every locale. Who knows how the OGs of Italy will react to our self-proclaimed guidos and guidettes? Luckily, Vinny's got first generation family (wait, there's more of them?!) who'll be nearby to offer up heaps of comfort food and some guidance on the cultural ways of "the beautiful country."

The show is slated to film in Spring of 2011 and air later on this year.

"While the stateside "Jersey Shore" locales have become iconic for our audience it’s really the constantly evolving dynamic amongst the cast that keeps them coming back each season, and Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us," said Chris Linn, Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production for MTV. "The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can’t wait to see what erupts as a result."

That's fucking depressing.

FWIW, the only shred of Jersey Shore I've ever seen was the youtube/.gif of snooky getting punched in the face. :paranoid:
