I get what you're saying. If I was a coach, though, I wouldn't take things like that personally, especially if he makes your team better, which Knighton absolutely does. The RB room next year is not loaded. It's good, but not loaded. There are reasons to cut a kid off (I fully agree with cutting Parsons off after publicly criticizing JT and Parsons is a star) but not making a phone call to tell them you're changing your mind isn't one of them imo

We all know that Jaylan is talented. We also know that RB recruiting has not went well this year. If the staff decides to pass in that scenario, I will trust their judgment. If not, would love to bring him on board. Simple stuff.

I have total confidence that Coach Day and his staff will do what is best for the team and The Ohio State University. This has nothing to do with scrutinizing a kid and his decision of where to go to school; and yes, their attitude should be an issue with any championship team-first atmosphere even if you are 17 or 18.

I haven't followed recruiting much but I'm not too concerned about the running back position. Master Teague is already a beast and one of the best backs in the B1G. Marcus Crowley and Steele Chambers have looked good in their minutes.

If there is any doubt whatsoever about this kids character I'd rather not take a chance.

FWIW FSU has hired Bob Stoops....not sure when it gets announced publicly, but its a done deal. As an FSU alum, I'm pretty disappointed. Very lazy hire.....
