Anyone choosing to play for Taggart I just Have to question his decision making skills
He's already used his official here so it's doubtful he gets back up here. That being said, you're definitely right about there being a good chance of flipping him.We will get him in for a game in October and we will flip him.
Not worried. Taggart is not the answer there and they are going to have a very rough season I think.
Wanted Knighton in the class but doesn't feel like a "loss". Felt too good to be true and as a matter of fact, it was. No reason to be bitter or disappointed at all here. My only real beef is that I think Drennen is every bit as good and it looks like we took a flier on Knighton and it didn't work out.
I truly believe Ohio State was still in the ears of other exceptional backs. It's not like Knighton was a 100% lock even when the crystal balls leaned towards Ohio State. I just can't fathom a scenario where the coaching staff shut down recruitment at RB because they were sure that Knighton and Robinson would stick until December or February. It's July. You don't stop recruiting all your targets in July.
This idea that Knighton was, is, and always will be Ohio State's must-get at APB that we "whiffed" on just seems like the usual "the sky is falling" attitude some fans get when something non-positive happens. The reality is, unless someone has actual inside knowledge of Ohio State's Recruiting Board, we really have no clue who the coaching staff has been looking at, and why. When a recruit names you a favorite and he's a guy you'd take ... of course you push for him. That doesn't mean he's the ONLY guy the staff has as a take and is pursuing. Because obviously, things change in recruiting (Knighton was an OU commit, afterall).
I feel confident this staff has identified other targets that they are pushing whom will no doubt have the ability to come in an compete for playing time. I just don't see us coming up empty handed if the staff wants to take some RBs. Especially given how deep this class is. A lot of top RB talent left on the board and plenty of time to potentially flip.

Guys, there's no shame in losing at home to the smurfs, is there?
Free Shoes beat the mighty Warhawks of Louisiana Monroe. Taggart got them properly hydrated and conditioned for this game, duhSO.... How's school????
