Why would he say something like that after he committed if it weren't true?Bucknut24;2287476; said:No recruit is going to change their mind at the 24th hour based off of ONE game
"I was going to be a buckeye but then my parents talked me out of it"Why would he say something like that after he committed if it weren't true?
and from reading a ton of posts on this subject, it was crystal clear that many people were going to reach this conclusion regardless. To me, it was a simple case of "is my hometown team good enough to stay home for?", and Louisville's convincing win over an SEC power convinced him it was. No doubt in my mind that had Florida won and/or Bridgewater had struggled, he'd be a Buckeye.

To all you folks thinking "one" game can never make a difference, you're wrong. That win over Florida clearly convinced him that he would be on a solid team that could showcase his talents for at least two years, and possibly contend for a national title, and he could stay at home in doing so. I indeed believe his was swaying to Ohio State near the end, and had Louisville not shown just how great they can be, he would've opted for Ohio State simply because of UFM and the OSU aura.

SEREbuckeye;2287561; said:Agreed. He already had Louisville as the top 1/2 team, and the win pushed it over the edge, while the Buckeyes were sitting at home this bowl season - 'out of sight, out of mind.'
That Louisville win was a huge push.
