James “not elite” Franklin (HC Penn St. Nittany Lions)

To be fair, Franklin probably thought that the Illinois game was still going on.
Well done.

Actually I have heard SCum is begging Franklin to replace Hairball since they seem to believe Elite means never winning anything but talking tough and being insane. Which are all pre-req for the SCum job. Franklin is the poster child of overrated. I have never gotten why people talk about him like he is something special. Again is even the 3rd best coach in the B10 East? Obviously Day is 1, I would say Tucker can make an argument of being in top 3 and Fitz at NW is definitely better IMO. Fritz finds wins with a roster that often doesn't have a single player that would make tOSU 2 deeps. Franklin is and always has been a train wreck. Oh and I don't give him any credit for the "White Out" wins. The fans will the team to victory and help them overcome his coaching.

I think you're also missing Kirk "Perennial Coach of the Year" Ferentz. Seriously I'd put him ahead of Franklin. And maybe Schiano and Fat Boy at Illinois as well.
