Jameis Winston (QB Browns)

Regardless of whether Winston actually is guilty, the manner in which FSU handled the complaint really appears not to have complied with Title IX.

Not just that they didn't comply with Title IX by something like simple "administrative oversight," but it appears they actively went out of their way to avoid complying with Title IX based on actions and words of administrators.

Especially since they aren't champions of anything* this year, and there's no qb returning to the school that needs protecting.

*I can think of a few things they're champions of, but it has nothing to do with winning football games.

Because the victim, or whatever you want to call her, is obviously psychic. When she reported the assault she knew what kind of success the accused individual was going to enjoy as quarterback at FSU leading to NFL success, even though he hadn't yet taken a snap, or was known to her by name until weeks later.

Greedy bitch.

Well, she also foresaw that FSU would completely fail to apply Title IX as well. Greedy bitches know everything.

Lack of instructional control? Not one bit. They exhibited complete control over themselves and furthermore manged to control the TPD to boot.

Now, that said, one can bring into question the direction by which they controlled their institution... JFC.

After reading a bit of the complaint everyone who was involved in this case, FSU or TPD, etc. that attempted to sweep this under a rug needs to be fired immediately and be named parties in civil suits.

Burn, salt earth, repeat.

Completely agree. Again, it's just a complaint and not facts in evidence, but that's one ugly set of allegations for the school. Why are the FSU/Tallahassee cops talking to "Candice Fisher" in the first place? Much as someone above observed, it's not that much unlike a certain cult to the East. Lack. Of. Institutional. Control. (Obviously, taking it to an NCAA perspective, not the Title IX suit)

I'm wondering if they bring in TPD once discovery starts turning up ugly stuff. That seems like a more convoluted case, though. How do you prove they didn't properly investigate? Or that they were aware Campus PD would hand over the case files to Bonasorte and Winston's lawyer?

Now, nobody received free tattoos, so I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.

I think it depends what happens with this case and PSU vs. NCAA in the courts. It does follow the same model of an institution covering up potential scandal as a competitive advantage. And the competitive advantage part is very cut and dry given Winston's performance.

Ladies and gents, the sarcasm font appears to be broken. Will someone please notify the mods. Thanks.

As to LOIC, Jimbo ran a tight ship, but someone fucked with the gyro and no one could steer straight.
