Predictable delay #1 granted, because we can't let something like a little alleged rape get in the way of the foosball season.

FSU postpones Jameis Winston hearing until Dec. 1

A Florida State investigative hearing into whether an alleged sexual assault involving quarterback Jameis Winston violated the student conduct code has been delayed to Dec. 1, a person involved in the process told USA TODAY Sports on Wednesday.

The person requested anonymity because specifics of the hearing are to remain confidential.

FSU notified Winston and the former female FSU student who said Winston raped her on Nov. 4 that the hearing would be scheduled for the week of Nov. 17. David Cornwell, an attorney advising Winston, sent a letter to the school and attorneys for the woman on Nov. 6 requesting a delay in the hearing, which was scheduled to begin nearly two years after the woman first reported to campus police on Dec. 7, 2012.

That simply wont work.

Yes, it is the first business day after he completes his season, but there is a league championship and a playoff to contend with.

This needs more study.

Lawyer only needs to delay the hearing past Winston's last game, whether that's Dec 31, Jan 12, or some day in between. After the season is over, Jameis will leave school to prepare for the combine, then the hearing can never take place.

I don't habitually wish a whole LOT of people dead, but...

Harding, 79, will rule if Winston violated any of four sanctions of the student conduct code.

Maybe their strategy is to keep postponing until Harding drops dead of old age, and they have to start all over again selecting a judge.

According to the USA today article, a decision is supposed to be within 10 days, but could take longer. The last day, I guess, for the good judge to give his findings would be ONE DAY after the championship game. Very sly Mr. Winston. I don't even care about him getting caught or any kind of punishment. He'll fuck up severely one day in the NFL and end up in prison. I want to see the US DOE shred FSU. The evidence against them is piled up pretty high.
