You could see this coming back in November. Yes, even before Gibbs hit the portal.

Trey worked out prettttty good for that transfer year, but TreVeyon Henderson, all our WRs, AND Jahmyr Gibbs would have been, uh, fun.

More complex than that….he seems like a great guy, but at time of recruitment outta HS, Bama and OSU were worried about grade issues and potential eligibility…..he bounced around HS’s a lot bc of his home life and actually experienced homelessness for stretches at a time.
Ga Tech became the best option when Tashard Choice took on a father role for him. Tashard Choice was RB coach at Ga Tech and has now been hired to be RB’s coach for the Lions, reuniting them.
After (2) seasons at Ga Tech, and not having significant issues, he proved he could handle the rigors of being a college athlete and Bama ended up landing his services.
It’s actually a great story in the end….
