He’s visiting Ohio State on 1/17. He’s visiting other schools as well. It will be difficult to get him out of the South.

By now I’m sure most everyone is aware of what the above is in reference to. If not, the below is a Facebook post from one of Gibbs family members, with comments from his mother and other family members about going to Ohio State.




It was quickly taken down, and reportedly asked by family to be taken off the Ohio State Reddit page.

Either:

A. The family is messing with OSU fans
B. Gibbs is indeed coming here and it got out on accident
C. People (family included) jumped the gun and the choice isn’t really made

I tend to think C is the most likely.

Getting the feeling that all the insiders are being very careful with reporting on Gibbs on the account that they were burned by Bijon and the other kid earlier in the year, but I am beginning to believe that there is reason for optimism, lets hope im right...

We felt Jahmyr Gibbs was quite good entering the week, but the Georgia Tech commit is very possibly better than thought. Gibbs’ quickness was seen both in practice and during the game. He was able to beat some of the nation’s fastest linebackers to the edge and played with a speed that stuck out all week.
