I would call it extremely damaging, at the very least. I'm not aware of other top-drawer cornerback prospects we have a solid relationship with.
I agree with @ShowMeBuck , this isn't a devastating loss. One kid doesn't make or break classes at OSU(or Bama, Clemson, OU or UGA). I've/we've seen Coombs turn 3 and 4 sars into 1st round picks, and kids who are playing on Sundays and were still drafted. Once kids hit college campuses, coaching matters more than solely HS talent, we've all seen highly rated kids not produce like what we expected based off of HS stars. The large DB haul from 2021 makes losing Singletary not as much of a big deal. And let's not underestimate the talent of Brooks, Turner, Brown and Stokes. If Singletary wants to stay or go, good for him. Go Bucks!
