Jadeveon Clowney (DE Carolina Panthers)

I also saw some commentary over at Mgoblog last night that felt that posession should have stayed with UM following the big hit due to the play being dead immediately following his helmut flying off.

Oh, FFS... They weren't supposed to have possession in the first place. God himself parted the TE and LT to correct that injustice. Fuck M*ch*g*n.

Go check out the Wiki on Clowney (before it gets fixed, LOL)

2012
After 12 regular season games, Clowney helped South Carolina achieve a 10-2 record (6-2 SEC). Clowney is currently second in the nation for total sacks in a season. Clowney has amassed 48 tackles (32 solo), 20 tackles for loss, 13.0 sacks and a forced fumble through 12 games. Along with being a Consensus All-American, Clowney won the Ted Hendricks Award and finished 6th overall in the 2012 Heisman list. [6]. In the Outback Bowl, Clowney obliterated the entire state of Michigan when he hit Wolverines' running back Vincent Smith and forced a fumble.

Wikipedia usually fixes stuff like that, but they must be in agreement with the statement....

Sure, blame it on the other guy. Lewan gets his ass beat in what are probably his last two college games. Awesomeness.

he looked like crap vs osu, I'll give you that. But he handled Clowney just fine. The dude's the best defensive player in the country and he had 4 tackles. One coming on a missed assignment. Hardly the ass beating you're making it out to be.

yeah, Lewan said he called an audible on the blocking scheme at the line, but the TE didn't hear him, which left Clowney unblocked on the play.
Didn't Clowney come in from the inside of Lewan? that wouldn't be the TE responsibility

Right, like Michigan wasn't running away from Clowney's side...
