He's clearly to blame on this one as well.
If the clip started a little earlier, you can see Peppers telling the other defender to vacate the middle of the field, leaving only Peppers--- as he back peddles to approximately 20 yards off the ball.
He then whiffs horribly on the tackle and looks like a jackass chasing Barrett.
So schematically he might have been wrong telling the other guy to vacate the middle... alignment he was almost certainly wrong, 20 yards off the ball against a team that hasn't completed a long pass all day?
... and he definitely fucked up the execution of making a tackle.
So yeah, definitely player of the year quality stuff right there.
