JBB=Juwann Bushell-Beatty. Offensive line prospect and teammate of Peppers. Has quite a few high level offers, no offer from Ohio State as of yet.ant80;2326013; said:And who is JBB?

The Michigan Wolverines are no stranger to hosting high-profile recruits and Thursday Jabrill Peppers stopped in Ann Arbor to see what all the buzz is about.
"I loved it," said the second overall prospect in the Rivals100. "It was a great, great first impression. I grew up a Michigan fan so that certainly helps the cause. I had a lot of fun. It was more than what I expected. I had good expectations for the visit but they definitely exceeded them."
Michigan is one of the cornerback's top schools and he was eager to learn more about the program.
"The coaching staff is very down to earth," said the 6-foot-1, 210-pound Peppers. "They are very cool, laid-back people but when it's time to work, it is time to work. They coach those players hard, which I love. The main thing I liked about them was that they reminded me of my coaches right now.

Michigan may very well still be his favorite, but for the sake of proper context this article and those statements were made prior to his trip to Ohio State. Of course, if you listen to one of our resident Michigan fans Peppers wasn't impressed at all with OSU. By the way Maple, still waiting for your source on that info....ant80;2326196; said:
How many kids talk about the desire to play for a NC? Most of the elite one's do. To say that on field performance doesn't matter is kind of funny. Vonn Bell at his announcement talked about Meyer going 12-0 with mostly players he didn't even recruit, etc etc.UpNorth_Buckeye;2326204; said:I would not be surprised at all if Michigan leads, but it is April...before any football has been played.
I know that on field performance only factors slightly into a recruit's decision (which some people here even disagree with), but if we run the table and play for a NC, and Michigan goes 9-3....

I certainly understand your stance on positions of need but Peppers is just that good. Even if we only had 5 scholarships total this year, I am pretty sure the staff would knock the doors down for Jabrill.
I really want to see him in the S&G, but I would much rather see him at Stanford than scUM. Keep in mind it is early though and with a national guy like Peppers, we will likely see his recruitment come down to NLOID (whether he verbals before or not). No way I saw Bell coming here last year and a 12-0 season and a relentless staff changed that.
zebiraross;2326370; said:This is a confusing one. Besides him saying "Urban Meyer is a genius" and saying that Osu is set up to win NC's, I haven't read anything else that's came out of his mouth either positive or negative.
Not that I've seen. All the info about his visits this weekend has been his coach basically relaying what Jabrill has told him.zebiraross;2326590; said:I see. So do we have any feedback at all from Peppers?
