What do they mean "could" immediately compete? If Harbaugh is still the coach in 2021, McCarty is his last hope, obviously Milton and/or McNamara couldn't get the job done. He'll be basically handed the starting QB job, the breaking news next Spring will be McCarthy named (or obviously will be based on Spring practice reps) the starting QB, and both Milton and McNamara are joining McCaffrey in the transfer portal.......

BETTERTHANFIELDS! was a pure bust, but I have to admit that the Sierra Savior did show more than just about any Harbaugh QB before getting hurt. He should go into the Spring with the job his to lose if Harbaugh has any sense at all. Ummm, never mind.
