One rumor I saw was clearly created by the Vikings. Said that McCarthy would have been the top QB in this year’s draft; therefore, the Vikings expect to get a first rounder in the first few picks.
NFL doesn’t work like that.

Because the best pass blocking Oline on the planet and a trio of great pass catchers got them where they are - not Darnold. At the end of the day, Sam is still Sam. He's just surrounded by great talent, so his flaws are minimized.
