J. Hall, C. (Pittsburgh) Brown, and T. Howard reinstated for Miami

Here is a press release suggesting a minimum 2 games for the charity trio. There is no way this press release [ LINK ] came from the NCAA. I find it hard to believe that the NCAA would cite the AP as a source for its (the NCAA's) decision and describe game dominance, record winning streaks, and "beat down" in what is supposed to be a serious press release.

What the fucking shit. If one of those motherfuckers from Miami play next week the whole group at the NCAA lose all credibility. I have never seen a bigger pile of shit in my life and my neighbors were menonite farmers growing up. I'm sorry I wish I could see this as being the threes fault but after watching chris spielman not say one goddamn word in defense with it being his charity I can only say one thing. Fuck the NCAA and fuck ESPN. Yes conspiracy theory I know but I've had it. It really is the Buckeyes vs the whole fucking espncaa world.

That's bull[Mark May]. Shariff Floyd received a two game suspension and he took $2,500. What the heck?!
Sharrif Floyd probably didn't warrant suspension at all.

I agree, though, that this whole business stinks to high heaven. Fuck Mark Emmert - he's a self-righteous tool.

I don't know why anyone is surprised by anything the NCAA does anymore. The most shocking thing they could ever do is be consistent. Until then, expect complete and utter bullshit. Nothing more, nothing less.

Jacory & co. got 1 game for $150 (a number that I'm highly skeptical of, since a "night on the town" for other players reached over $1,000 on numerous occasions.) And although the circumstances may be different, Sharrif Floyd* accepted benefits of around $2,700 and got 2 games.

Keep it up NCAA, you've done well enforcing your Nazi rules.

* note: Sharrif should've never been suspended, IMO. But rules are rules.

The simple NCAA press release is in the last post on the previous page. The AP apparently took that statement and added to it.

Call me when the NCAA quits fucking shit up. Miami players can go on hooker and coke fueled rages, but poor Sharrif Floyd and our guys get worse punishment.

That said, I ain't happy with our guys. After all this shit that's went down you would figure they would be reluctant to take money from anyone. Fuck it though. As long as this is it we are cool.

I think a 12 year old kid got a hold of his dad's computer and added to the release.

This whole thing is horseshit, wait till 5:00 PM the day before the game to release the additional suspension, I'd love to hear the story behind that.

From the article the say "merit a minimum two-game suspension." What are the odds that the NCAA keeps them out of the Miami game as well?

I've never seen a school so targeted.

It's unreal. The fucking left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. How does Ohio State think that they are eligible and then not find out they are ineligible until less than 24 hours before the fucking game? What other school does this happen to? It's laughable. Cam Newton's dad was SELLING his son. Our guys sold some trinkets for tattoos and the whole fucking world crashes down around their ears.

Us against the world. Literally.

It's Ohio State vs. the fucking ncaa, espin and everyone else.
