Coach Brownell is a good coach and he's already doing some really good things at Wright State. I'd hate to see him go, but that's the nature of being successful at a program like Wright State. I have little doubt Brownell could be successful, but Litl is probably right. He probably needs to do it at another place more prominent than WSU before he could get a job like IU.
I don't think Pitino is going anywhere. I think the fact that he's at Louisville is acknowledgment of the fact that it was a mistake to leave Kentucky for the Celtics. He has a good gig in Louisville, and despite the disdain he exhibited for the lifestyle in Kentucky when he first got there, I think he's made himself a home and will probably retire from Louisville one day.
Sean Miller seems like the obvious choice. I'd like to see him stay at Xavier, but Indiana is a plum job. I realize that Indiana is at a different level in terms of prestige, but Xavier may be getting close to the point where that job is a destination and not a stepping stone. It was a strong program under Gillen, Prosser and Matta, and Miller has only added to that. Miller might be the best move for Indiana though, and for the sake of the Buckeyes, that's probably who I'd least like them to have to face in the coming years.
