The Game part II? Wow! When am I going to wake up?

And who cares what we could lose. Who cares that already beat them and shouldn't have to again. You don't play football to play scared. The Buckeyes aren't scared to play them again. I hope Buckeye fans to whine about this, and instead take it all in and realize this is an amazing once in a lifetime situation. Big 10 vs. Big 10 in a bowl game...The National Championship game...and not just Big 10 teams, but THE Big 10 teams....Ohio State and Michigan.

THIS IS HISTORY. THIS IS THE BEST RIVALRY IN SPORTS!

Maybe the same luck will fall on Michigan that fell on USC when that thread was created. That'd be fine with me. Either way, it'll be great because Ohio State is playing in the National Championship Game. Haha...I was just kind of making fun of the thread...but in all honesty...

NO COMPLAINING ABOUT WHO WE PLAY! WE ARE IN THE GAME...LET EVERYONE ELSE COMPLAIN...OHIO STATE HAS NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT, NO MATTER WHO WE PLAY.

I guess my issues with it is this. Say we get a rematch. Ohio State VS. Michigan. We have to beat them twice to get a National Chamionship...

Now, let's say the star aline, and everything goes perfect for Michigan and they beat us....

They win the Championship outright. Nevermind the fact we already beat them during the season.

Say they beat us by 3. Will the Michigan faithful be shouting rematch? Nope. Cause they get to bring the hardware back home. Leaving our players who already beat them in the regular season runners up.

So, no I don't like the idea of a rematch.

I agree with the thread starter, too many people are playing scared I think; talking about how it is unfair.

Things wouldn't be any different had we lost to scUM we'd be getting this same rematch that they will likely get; this was just a very strange year in college football with a bunch of teams losing more then 1 game in the regular season.

IF we lose, then scUM wins the title game, it sucks, but at least we'll have the Big Ten title; and that IS still a big deal.

Just my view on the matter, I don't think there is a right or wrong answer, I just think that our fanbase is coming off as looking scared to face them again.

If we would have beat michigan @michigan i'd feel a little more cheated, but we had the game at home.

So would Michigan be playing for half of the Big Ten title also in your mind? I don't agree with we have half of the title. We won at Home, in a non-national championship game. If anything we'd have about 30% of it locked up if we lost to Michigan on a neutral field.

Everyone should just be excited to know that Ohio State has controlled it's own destiny and won the Big Ten title, Michigan did not do that, they're still possibly sitting on the outside watching Florida, and needed a major upset to get in the game.
Plus I think it would help the cause of retireing the #10 if he beat scUM as the starting QB FOUR times!

If we have to play them I have no fears. Tsun KNOWS we beat them and will beat them again. That will affect their minds. But we don't need that.
we have the team and the talent. Bring them on. we know we can beat anyone out there. The only question is who.
Let's Boogie....
